Vesta and the Leo-Triplet are just a start...

part of "FA's Astro-life" - German part "here"...

I often follow the synchronicities and little “hints” I get – may that now be with Astrological research or other parts of my life…

When I was writing about the Vesta – Orcus conjunction on 27th of October 2024, I noticed Vesta’s placement and remembered that I’ve seen something to be “there” – so, I went on to look…

The star maps showed the marking of M65 and M66 and I found out them to be three spiral galaxies called the “Leo Triplet” and they’re so close together, they fit into 1 telescope picture…

Beside the “picture fit” – the three seem to be gravitationally bonded and as that are a small galaxy group. If and how they interact with other groups is unclear.

NGC 3628, is the one that we see edge-on (like a needle on the left side) and it got the “nickname” Hamburger galaxy and also the name Sarah’s Galaxy (which astonished me, but then I’ve read on Wikipedia it refers to a poem written by Sarah Williams)

Poem: The old Astronomer

“Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light; I have loved the stars too truly to be fearful of the night.”

I think, this fits also for many Astrologers or otherwise by the stars “illuminated” people and it may also work very well with the themes of Vesta.

I found a discovery date (often there are years only) for the M66 galaxy – Charles Messier (Messier catalogue = all objects with M…) on 1st of March 1780 in Paris France.

M65 was also discovered by Charles Messier in the same year and NGC3628 was discovered by William Herschel in 1784 (his sister documented all objects known to her in a catalogue and made some own discoveries too – her lists were further developed and are now known as the New General Catalogue – Caroline Herschel was the first woman who ever got a salary paid by the British Government)

I was taken aback, when I looked at the discovery chart and the chart of the Vesta – Orcus conjunction on 27th of October 2024…

Heliocentric sidereal discovery chart of M66 galaxy as member of the Leo Triplet

What I find interesting is the fact that in the 2024 chart, we have Mars near Venus’ Northnode – in this sense a very “aware” and present energy. Whereas in 1780 this position was held by Gonggong – a planet out in the realms of Eris and not much known (even I have just recently started to research Gonggong, there’s an interesting “cooperation” with Eris I noted) – so a type of subconscious or “unknown” that does go much further than that of Uranus and further out Sedna does bring an even further “level” to that. With Nessus, we may have the energy of “abandonment and abuse” here as well – yet, Nessus isn’t just the “bad guy”, as he’s also the “ferryman” that brings us to the “other side” ….

When we now add this information to the Leo-Triplet, we have an energy with lots of creativity, phantasy, and opportunity but also uncertainty and challenges to deal with – there’s an “emerging” taking place (kind of like from “the other side”) …

Another important correlation is, that Orcus and Pluto have a very similar orbit duration and therefore, Pluto’s position is in each chart similar too, in earlier sidereal Capricorn or even constellation Capricorn and for a while prior to this, in the sesquiquadrate angle (135°) ….

It seems, that there can be transformational energy or a “programming” energy involved here but it’s after becoming aware of where we “abuse” ourselves or where we tend to fall for the “pied piper”. The Earth-Moon system being involved in the longitude of the Leo Triplet in the discovery chart, does bring emphasis onto the grounding, anchoring, physical aspects of it…

When we translate this energy, into the 2024 conjunction of Vesta and Orcus, then there’s this awareness and presence we collectively tap into – much more than we have been used to do in the past 250 years, especially if we go our “own way”, follow our own heart’s passion and inner fire… so, it’s very promising…

Yet, it also means a “concluding and seeding” energy within the Venus themes is important, as the Venus “orbital cross” is involved… also Uranus got his orbital cross involved here plus his perihelion having been nearby in 1780… it all shifted a 2 to 3 degrees since 1780 for Uranus, yet not as much for Venus…

The Grandtrine is interesting too, as it involves Mercury and Jupiter – both known back in 1780 already… Uranus marking another pointer and completing the GT… more about this further down…

As I love to share synchronicities, I would like to mention that in this time of writing this, I also got an article from Space. com about Vesta, saying that Vesta’s craters might be a result of salt water to have been present in ice form, that melted for several ten minutes after some collisions. That liquid water would then even in this short time, cause landslides and craters to form within which the saltwater would freeze again – a process that can be repeated…

How that saltwater ice got there in the first place wasn’t discussed…

But how exciting to think of Vesta as like a “mermaid” holder – a place for marine life – once upon a time past or future…

Orcus in these longitudes…

For obvious reasons, I have to go on with the Orcus positions here.
